The bed bug disclosure addendum is provided by a landlord to a tenant to detail the past existence of this type of insect in the premises. This form is only required to be presented to the tenant in four (4) States. Although, due to the outbreak of bedbugs and how hard it is to get rid of them it’s in the landlord’s best interest to inform the tenant of a recent infestation. In addition, in order to build a proper landlord-tenant relationship it is respectful to inform the tenant if the property has been recently sprayed with pesticides.
